The material above your eyes is also very soft. There's a cold side and warm side, a cool side for summer and a warm side for winter. It is well made with the softest material. This one is such a smooth and silky feeling material that doesn't bother your eyes. The mask is very good at keeping the light out, even on very sunny days. And most importantly it is so comfortable to wear. It really does help you get to sleep. It also stays on with the ear loops and they don't bother you side sleeping like what I do.
